Prerequisites
To attend this course and sit the certification exams, candidates must:
- Hold one of the following certifications:
- ITIL 4 Managing Professional
- ITIL 4 Master
- ITIL v3 Expert
- ITIL v3 Master
- Complete an accredited ITIL Managing Professional Transition (Version 5) training course before taking the official exams
Exam & Certification Details
Upon completing the accredited training, candidates must pass two official PeopleCert online examinations to earn the ITIL® Managing Professional (Version 5) certification.
ITIL Transformation (Version 5) Exam
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Format: Open book
- Questions: 40 multiple-choice questions
- Pass Mark: 28/40 (70%)
ITIL Managing Professional Transition – Product, Service & Experience Exam
- Duration: 120 minutes
- Format: Open book (official ITIL Product, Service, and Experience books only)
- Questions: 60 multiple-choice questions
- Pass Mark: 42/60 (70%)
Both exams may be taken separately and in any order. Successful completion of both exams awards the official ITIL® Managing Professional (Version 5) certification issued by PeopleCert. The certification is subject to the PeopleCert Continuing Development Programme (CPD).
