Course timeline

1. Day 1: PHP Fundamentals

   Lesson 01

   • Set up the PHP development environment and run your first PHP applications.
   • Learn PHP syntax, tags, comments, and embedding PHP within HTML.
   • Work with variables, constants, data types, and type conversion.
   • Understand dynamic typing and variable assignment.
   • Process user input using HTML forms, HTTP requests, and PHP superglobals.
   • Build a strong foundation for developing dynamic web applications.

2. Day 2: Programming with PHP

   Lesson 02

   • Use expressions, operators, and operator precedence effectively.
   • Control application flow with conditional statements and loops.
   • Create reusable functions with parameters, return values, and anonymous functions.
   • Manage variable scope and built-in PHP functions.
   • Work with strings, interpolation, indexing, and string manipulation.
   • Organize code using include and require statements.

3. Day 3: Object-Oriented PHP & Database Access

   Lesson 03

   • Create and manipulate arrays using built-in array functions.
   • Build object-oriented applications with classes, inheritance, interfaces, and traits.
   • Handle errors and exceptions using try/catch and global exception handling.
   • Connect PHP applications to databases using PDO.
   • Execute secure database operations with prepared statements and transactions.
   • Manage database connectivity and error handling efficiently.

4. Day 4: Web Development & Application Architecture

   Lesson 04

   • Implement user authentication with cookies and session management.
   • Apply software design patterns including MVC, Dependency Injection, and Singleton.
   • Use templating, package management, and modern PHP frameworks.
   • Integrate PHP applications with web services and APIs.
   • Perform asynchronous HTTP requests using JavaScript.
   • Build scalable, secure, and maintainable PHP web applications.
