About MoP®
Learn the fundamental skills required to manage portfolios successfully.
Management of Portfolios (MoP) provides a set of principles, techniques and methods to help organizations ensure that their programs and projects contribute to strategic objectives and achieve the highest returns.
MoP portfolio management is defined as a coordinated set of strategic processes and decisions that together enable the most effective balance between organizational change and 'Business as Usual'.
Get a basic understanding of MoP® (portfolio governance - portfolio management)
Portfolio management with MoP approaches the management of change projects and programs from a strategic point of view. It provides an overview of all change activities, including what is in the portfolio, what it costs, what risks are faced, what progress is being made, and what the impact is on business as usual and the organization's strategic objectives.
The training will help you find an answer to questions such as: "What is a portfolio?", "How much does it cost?", "What disadvantages might there be?" and "How does it affect Business as Usual?". Some outcomes are that you invest only in the right projects and programs, dare to terminate those that are not profitable and realize the benefit realization and get an improved risk management strategy.
