Prerequisites
To earn the Advanced Certified ScrumMaster® (A-CSM®) certification, participants must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) certification from Scrum Alliance. The CSM may be active or expired.
- Alternatively, for the A-CSM pathway, PSM I or PSM II from Scrum.org may be accepted in lieu of CSM, subject to Scrum Alliance's current requirements.
- Complete an approved A-CSM course of at least 16 hours and any additional educator-designed course requirements.
- Demonstrate at least 12 months of Scrum Master experience within the past five years before the A-CSM credential can be awarded.
