Prerequisites:
To access the CompTIA SecurityX course and exam, candidates are recommended to have a minimum of ten years of general hands-on IT experience, with at least five of those years being broad hands-on IT security experience. Even better if experienced with Network+, Security+, CySA+, Cloud+, and PenTest+ or equivalent certifications/knowledge.
Exam Format:
- The exam consists of 90 questions.
- Multiple-choice questions
- Performance-based questions (where you need to perform a task or solve a problem within a simulated environment)
- The exam lasts 165 minutes (2 hours and 45 minutes).
- The passing score is 750 out of a maximum of 900.
The exam is available in English and can be taken online through Pearson VUE (with remote proctoring) or at Pearson VUE test centers.
