Management of Risk (M_o_R) is a general framework for managing risk in all areas of an organization - strategic, program, project and operational. It includes all activities necessary to identify and control exposure to any type of risk, positive or negative, that may affect the achievement of your organization's business objectives. The bulk of the course consists of ten sessions covering the principles, approach, processes, embedding & review and perspectives of the Management of Risk guidelines. The course also covers risk health checks, the Management of Risk maturity model and risk management specialties.

    This session looks at changing organizational culture, measuring value and overcoming common barriers to implementing Risk Management, along with identifying opportunities for change.

  7. M_o_R Perspectives

    Lesson 07

    The M_o_R guideline describes the context of Risk Management from 4 different perspectives. These are Strategic, Program, Project and Operational and this session will look at each of these perspectives in a little more detail.
